TelPet Oral Suspension contains Telmisartan 10 mg/ml, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) specifically designed for the management of systemic hypertension, proteinuria and chronic kidney disease in pets. By blocking AT1 receptors, Telmisartan reduces blood pressure, decreases glomerular hypertension and lowers urinary protein loss, making it a key therapy for both cats and dogs with renal and cardiovascular complications.

It is particularly valuable in feline hypertension, where it offers reliable, sustained blood pressure control.

• Shake bottle well before use
• Use supplied applicator for accurate ml/kg dosing
• Administer orally
• Monitor blood pressure and kidney values regularly
• Do not stop therapy abruptly without veterinary direction
• Recheck dosing in growing pets or weight-changing pets

Cats

• Hypertension: 1.5 mg/kg PO BID × 14 days, then 2 mg/kg PO SID
• CKD proteinuria: 1 mg/kg PO BID

Dogs

• Proteinuria: Start 1 mg/kg PO SID, titrate upward by 0.5 mg/kg
• Maximum dose: 2 mg/kg/day

• Prescription-only veterinary medication
• Use with caution in dehydrated or hypotensive pets
• Avoid use in pets with acute kidney injury unless supervised
• Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless approved
• Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, hypotension or electrolyte imbalance
• Avoid combining with NSAIDs without veterinary guidance
• Ensure fresh water is always available
