Aclac 250 mg is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Potassium Clavulanate, supported by Lactic Acid Bacillus spores to promote digestive stability during antibiotic therapy. This combination is formulated to target both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria responsible for skin, soft-tissue and internal infections in cats and small-breed dogs.

Amoxicillin provides bactericidal action, while Clavulanate protects it from beta-lactamase enzymes, ensuring reliable efficacy even against resistant strains. The addition of LAB spores helps maintain healthy gut flora and reduces the likelihood of gastrointestinal disturbances, which are common with antibiotic use.

Aclac 250 mg is prescribed for:

  • Bacterial dermatitis, including superficial and deep pyoderma
  • Soft-tissue infections such as abscesses, wounds and lacerations
  • Post-operative infection management
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Respiratory tract infections
  • Infections caused by Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and E. coli
  • Broad coverage against common gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria
  • First-line antibiotic for bacterial pyoderma
  • High efficacy in deep skin infections
  • Clavulanate enhances the action of amoxicillin against resistant pathogens
  • LAB spores support digestive health and reduce antibiotic-associated GI upset
  • Reliable performance in both acute and chronic bacterial conditions
